Auckland Regional Public Health, Refugee Health Service

The Refugee Health Service is part of the Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS). The service includes the greater Auckland region. Public Health plays a major role in supporting and strengthening healthy communities including refugees and new migrants. 

The Refugee Health Service provides information, education, advocacy, communicable diseases control, health prevention and health promotion. The Refugee Health Service works in partnership with many health providers and communities to provide culturally appropriate and acceptable care.
